South Grandville Christian Reformed Church is committed to reaching out in many different ways:

Our church supports eight ministries in different parts of the nation and world. We support these ministries through our monthly Faith Promise offerings, but also through prayer and by writing letters to them.

South Grandville Church is also very “user friendly” having an elevator, hearing loop, and large print bulletins.

Some specific ministries we are part of are:

Refugee Resettlement

South Grandville CRC has worked with PARA, Bethany Christian Services in resettling several families over the years. The families were refugees from Cuba, Bosnia and Myanmar (Burma). You can read about South Grandville’s involvement in this article from the Banner.

South Grandville Baby Supply Pantry

The baby supply pantry is open on the second Tuesday of each month from 2-4 p.m. Diapers and wipes, along with other baby items are available for parents to pick up. Everyone, however, must be registered through United Church Outreach Ministry (UCOM). The telephone number for UCOM is 241-4006.

Grandville Area Friendship Ministry

Grandville Area Friendship Ministry meets in South Grandville Church on Thursday evenings from 7-8 p.m. This is a Bible study/friendship group for mentally challenged individuals. The meetings begin in October continuing through April. The Friendship students, as well as other mentally challenged people, are welcomed in our church.

Backpack Club Ministry

Weekend backpacks are provided for needy students at South Elementary School.

Getting to know our church neighbors

Special events and services will be communicated to our church neighbors on a regular basis.
